Theological: Grounded in the Prophetic Gospel of Christ

1. Prophetic Witness.
   1. Speaking truth to power.
   2. Addressing the current reality, predicament, or contemporary moment in terms of what it can and should be, as opposed to only allowing the present context to dictate or inform ones actions or responses to it.
2. Centering the voices of people who have been shaped by life on the margins (i.e., “the least of these”), and making their plight and predicament fundamental to, and a central focus of, the gospel.
3. Allowing suffering to speak and to reshape the agenda of those in power.
4. Spiritual transformation and leading a life of purpose by following the principles and foundation of Christ.
