An evening with Dr. Cornel West, in conversation with Dr. Daymond Glenn, where they discussed how Black Prophetic Fire and the Black Prophetic Imagination can bring Hope, Possibility, and Spiritual Transformation to all people who have been shaped by life on the margins and who seek to create a Beloved Community.

Completing our celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary, our pastor Dr. Daymond Glenn was in conversation on how Hip-Hop and Black Liberation Theology are two significant cultural responses to address the needs of People who have been shaped by life on the margins, and how intersecting them can be a revolutionary catalyst for social, cultural, and spiritual transformation in our society.
In continuing with our celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary, our Pastor Dr. Daymond Glenn was in conversation on how the intersection of Hip-Hop and the Black Prophetic Imagination can offer sites of hope and possibility for the future of the Church, while also being able to respond to the social and structural marginalization that disproportionately impact People of Color in inner-city urban America.
